Viz-A-Thon 2022, a hackathon of visualizations was organized by the Data Viz Forum under the Artificial Intelligence Student’s Association of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Department of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune in association with Datametica. The event was conducted in two stages and held on 12th and 15th September 2022 respectively. Both these stages were held on the VIIT campus in an offline format.
The event was the first of its kind and unique in nature. The registration response from students was overwhelming. Teams from VIIT, other colleges of Pune, and Rajkot took part in the Viz-AThon. A total of 43 teams took part in the Viz-A-Thon. The top 3 teams received a cash prize of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively, sponsored by Datametica.
